Charcoal

Newly discovered medium. I love working with it, feels more like playing.

Anti-Art School Life Model at the Lost Leaf

The Lost Leaf was packed with artists as a can of sardines.

Never seen so many in one place. Very artistic crowd that was.

Vinyl Art

Found a bunch of old ruined vinyl records in my garage. It would be nice to use them as a wall decoration.... Here is some first experiments:

Hmm... How about creating a wall with portraits of favorite musicians?

Used Oil Based Sharpie to create the drawing on the vinyl:

Madam C

This painting was planned as a watercolor but... well... you mustn't forget to bring the WATERCOLORS with you then!

As a substitute I used the watercolor pencil to make a detailed sketch and washed it with water to give it the desired watercolor effect.

Kandy @ the Lost Leaf

Another amazing model from the Anti-Art School in Phoenix.

Washing my brush in a glass with apple cider caused the painting to be a little sweet and sticky, but who has time to go and get water!

Carol

Portrait of an artist friend. My first try working with pastels.
